Located on the edge of the Texas Hill Country, where prairies turn into beautiful hills, Texas State enjoys a setting that is unique among Texas universities.  The beauty of the crystal-clear San Marcos River and the stately cypress and pecan trees on the campus adds to the charm of its picturesque settings.  The campus is in San Marcos, a community about halfway between Austin and San Antonio.  Its location on the banks of the San Marcos River provides recreational and leisure activities for student year round.

Accessible Parking

Accessible parking is located on Pleasant Street.  Additional accessible parking is available in the Pleasant Street parking garage at the corner of Pleasant Street and North LBJ Drive.

 

Accessible Entrance

The front entrance to the building is accessible.  There is not a semi-automatic door on the first floor, however, there is an elevator granting access to the second and third floors of the Agriculture Building.
