The Department of Agriculture hosts its annual "Meat & Greet" Welcome Reception for Returning and New Incoming students. This is our way of welcoming new members into the "Ag Family". Faculty, Staff along with all the Ag Student Organizations' officers coordinate the event. An extremely popular event where students meet new friends (and future classmates!) while exploring majors and career opportunities.
This is a party where you can eat "meat" and "greet" each other in a casual and fun atmosphere. Burgers, hotdogs, homemade goodies, sand volleyball, tug-o-war, water balloon fights... you get the picture... just an awesome good ol' time. Whether at Sewell Park, "Honey" Hill or Freeman Ranch, everyone always has a blast getting to know the 'new kids on the block' and their faculty members.
