Texas State Agriculture Faculty & Staff

The Faculty and Staff in the Department of Agriculture at Texas State University – San Marcos are the key components in student support. Faculty Advisors, being experts in their discipline are assigned to each student according to their major. Undergraduates are encouraged to seek advisement from their Faculty Advisors to ensure that each student is academically successful in their classes as well as on track toward graduation. Students are required to see their assigned Faculty Advisor their initial and last semesters at Texas State.  Students develop a one-on-one relationship with their Faculty Advisors, allowing them to become more actively involved in their major.
