- Directed graduate research in improving feed utilization by cattle, swine and sheep through feed processing, source and type of feed ingredients, use of digestion and growth modifiers, and reduction of metabolic stress. Specifically, research has focused on processing grain sorghum, corn, and low quality crop by- products to increase starch and/ or cellulose digestibility and to improve mineral utilization.
