After graduation from TAMU, Dr. Angirasa taught at Texas Tech University, Lincoln University, and then joined Texas State University in 1989. He has also worked as Socioeconomics Resource Manager and Senior Economist for Tetra Tech (a Honeywell subsidiary), and as Assistant Vice President and Economist at Security Pacific National Bank.  Dr. Angirasa has published extensively in professional journals and has presented many papers at various professional meetings.  Hobbies include reading, sports, traveling, and photography. He has travelled extensively in the United States as well as abroad.
