Areas of research interest:
  • Processing grain sorghum, corn, and low quality crop by-products to increase starch and/or cellulose 
         digestibility and to improve mineral utilization
  • Evaluation of potential oxidation/reduction modulation using both in-vitro and in-vivo models
Dr. Richardson has extensive experience in improving feed utilization by cattle, swine and sheep through feed processing, source and type of feed ingredients, use of digestion and growth modifiers, and reduction in metabolic stress.
