HACU 2012 DC Annual Conf Photos,

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) held its national annual conference in Washington DC on October 20 – 22, 2012. Six Texas State University USDA FATE students were sponsored and funded by the USDA FATE grant. The students were:

Four additional USDA FATE students were sponsored by HACU. The students were:

                Jacob Chavez, Palo Alto Community College

The HACU conference was held at the Washington Marriott Wardman Park Hotel. The theme of the meeting was “Championing Hispanic Higher Education Success: Advancing Access and Opportunity in a Changing Environment”.   Attending the conference allowed our students to participate in this important Hispanic conference and to network with other students and professionals.

Texas State USDA FATE students enjoyed a memorable trip to our nation's capitol.
